Saturday Golf: For those interested in getting in a round of golf before other reunion festivities on Saturday, ten tee times have been reserved at Indian Canyon starting at 9:26 AM on Saturday. If you wish to play, please let Jim Malm know how many players you want to reserve spots for via e-mail at jimmalm31@msn.com or by phone at 509-533-0801. Please have your requests to Jim by July 15th. If all the slots get filled, a waiting list will be started. Green fees are $29 per person with cart rental being available at the course if you wish to ride. Reservations for carts are not required. Jim needs to receive your green fees no later than July 31st.

Crick Brakel will be setting up cash prizes for KPs on some par 3 holes and for men’s and women’s longest drives on other holes. Entry is optional; fees will be collected on the morning of the tournament. An awards ceremony will be held following the round.

Please be aware that the teachers’ reception and concert by Mark Pearson will be held on Saturday afternoon at Lewis and Clark. Please let Jim know if you will be trying to attend those events so that you can be given an early tee time. An average round at Indian Canyon takes a little over four hours and can be much slower on weekends. Please plan accordingly – you might not be able to make it to the LC events if you play golf.

45th Reunion
Golf Tournament 2010

Indian Canyon Golf Course

Dear LC Reunion Golfers-

Please find attached the final list of golfing groups and associated tee times for our event on Saturday, August 14th at Indian Canyon. If you wish to ride, cart rental rates are $14/person and can be rented upon your arrival that morning. Jim Robinson & John Mohatt, and Frank King, Jim Zacher, Jerry Whitney, & Lance Roberts might want to coordinate beforehand to decide if you are going to ride and, if so, who will be riding with whom. Please be there 30-45 minutes before your tee time to let us know you survived the event on Friday night and will be playing, and to get your cart, and to sign up for the contests that Crick Brakel is organizing.

I've also attached a copy of the scorecard for Indian Canyon to acquaint (or reacquaint) you with the layout there. Some recent changes at the course include reversing the front and back nine holes, and making Hole# 10 (old #1) a par 4 for men.

Please contact me via e-mail or phone (509-533-0801) if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Jim Malm
